Twitter CEO Account Hacked

The Twitter account of the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, was was hacked by what appeared to be a SIM swapping incident. This allowed the attackers to send SMS's from the compromised number and use CloudHopper to post Tweets on Jack's Twitter account. The SIM swap appeared to be a failing of Jack's mobile provider.

Google Gives Details of Sites Exploiting iOS Vulns

Initially this story appeared to be some what straight forward. Google performed an investigation and discovered several sites actively exploiting known vulnerabilities in iOS. However Google would not disclose which sites were doing this. Now it appears that this was not limited to only iOS, but also impacted Android as well as Windows. There has even been speculation that this was the doing of the Chinese government to target Uyughur Muslims.
