DDOS Attack Against Wikipedia

A DDos (Distributed Denial of Service) attack against Wikipedia has forced it to become offline in several countries. It is not clear who is behind the attack, or exactly what their motives are. The attack started on Friday and carried on through the weekend. It now appears to be back online and operating normally.

Metasploit BlueKeep Exploit

A Bluekeep exploit module for Metasploit has been released. Bluekeep (CVE-2019-0708) is a vulnerability in the Windows Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), which allows for remote code execution. It affects Windows versions such as Windows XP, Windows Server 2000 through to Windows 2008 and Windows 7. If you haven't patched your Windows (there was even a manual patch for Windows XP), make sure that you drop everything and patch right away.
